BENEFEDS is the government-authorized and OPM-sponsored enrollment portal that eligible participants use to enroll in and manage their FEDVIP coverage. BENEFEDS also manages the billing systems and customer service functions necessary for the collection of FEDVIP premiums.

Enhanced Security for Your Member Portal

We’ve updated your member portal to improve your account security.

What’s changed?

  • We’ve introduced multi-factor authentication (MFA) to better protect your account
    • Your new User ID will be your email address
    • You’ll need to reset your password with the Forgot Password link the first time you log in
    • Your password must be: A minimum of 8 characters and must contain one Capital Letter, One Number and a Special Character
  • You’ll still have access to all the tools and services you’re familiar with
